Banned in 2020, Re-spawned in 2026 — Stefan Molyneux's 60-Day-Old Odysee Channel Has 511 Flagged Videos

Published May 13, 2026 · OdyseeWatchdog Investigative Team

Our channel-velocity scanner finished a fresh sweep today. It measures the age of every channel in our flagged dataset, then flags any that were created in the last 180 days and already have 20+ flagged videos — the signature of a purpose-built propaganda node, not legacy content sitting around. Three channels cleared that bar. Between them they account for 1,035 flagged videos and ~73,000 LBC of staked / tipped activity, all uploaded in the last six months.

The Lead — @freedomain (60 days old, 511 videos)

@freedomain was created on Odysee on 2026-03-13. Sixty days later it hosts 511 flagged videos with 57,454 LBC of accumulated tip / stake activity. That works out to ~8.5 videos per day, every day, for two months straight. No human is producing original content at that velocity. It's a bulk re-upload of an existing archive.

Whose archive? The channel doesn't hide it. The video titles on this 60-day-old account include:

[Top items by LBC, on a channel created 2026-03-13]
2,012 LBC · "THE DESPERATE FIGHT FOR FREE SPEECH! Stefan Molyneux and CEO…"
1,745 LBC · "BANNED FROM YOUTUBE! I REGRET NOTHING!"
1,277 LBC · "THE STATE OF THE WORLD - with STEFAN MOLYNEUX"
1,121 LBC · "The Truth About The Fall of Rome: Modern Parallels"
1,028 LBC · "WHEN THE WORLD WANTS YOU DEAD! Freedomain Call In"
961 LBC · "The Truth About Joe Biden vs Tara Reade"
569 LBC · "STEF UPDATE NOV 14 2021"
545 LBC · "STEFAN MOLYNEUX: MY MANIFESTO!"

Stefan Molyneux was banned from YouTube in June 2020 for what YouTube's removal notice described as "hate speech violations" — specifically the race-and-IQ pseudoscience material covered in our YouTube Dumping Ground piece. Almost six years later, he created a new account on Odysee — there was no friction whatsoever — and proceeded to upload his pre-2020 archive at scale. The fourth title in the list above, dated "NOV 14 2021", isn't even recent content; it's a 4.5-year-old archive video being posted today as if new. The platform doesn't care. It's shelf space.

The Other Two Nodes

@themastersvoiceprophecyblog · created 2025-12-13 (150 days ago) · 491 flagged videos · 14,730 LBC

Religious-prophecy + anti-vaccine fusion content. Sample titles: "Vaccines, Demons, Domestic Terrorism & MORE", "Forced Proof Of Vaccination Status And Nazis - A New Reich", "The Fig, The Seeds, & The VACCINES", "EXPLOSIONS - MILITARY AGENDA & DESTABILIZATION IN THE N.W.", "Survival Of The Fittest - Prophecy On Global COVID-19 Vaccination". One item carries our scanner's explicit Terrorism flag. 491 uploads in 150 days = ~3.3 per day, again the velocity of an archive dump rather than a working creator.

@AnalSex · created 2026-03-27 (46 days ago) · 33 flagged videos · 1,346 LBC

Pornography channel. The tipping volume is small but the concern is the title pattern: of 33 uploads, multiple use "Teen" framings — "Teen Anal Orgasm", "Mexican Teen Anal Sex", "Blonde Teen Gets Her Ass Deep Fucked in Hardcore Anal Sex Porn". We don't know whether the performers are actually minors (we are not investigating that question on a public site), but "teen" + hardcore-sexual is the documented vocabulary of CSAM-adjacent SEO across every adult platform. Mainstream porn hosts (Pornhub, xHamster) have rules against the "teen" keyword in title metadata for exactly this reason. Odysee doesn't. The channel was created 46 days ago and has not been actioned. The handle is, literally, @AnalSex.

The Velocity Pattern

Our channel-velocity scanner analyses 1,465 channels in our flagged dataset. Three cleared the "fresh propaganda node" bar (born under 180 days, 20+ flagged items). That's the headline. But the broader picture is that 9 channels under one year old are already in our flagged dataset, including some named entities that don't need much explanation:

  • @PatriotFront — 350 days old, 11 flagged items. The same Patriot Front whose members marched in white-nationalist formation through Charlottesville and Boston. They have a public Odysee account.
  • @PressForTruth — 278 days old, 33 flagged items.
  • @ObservationDeck — 233 days old, 71 flagged items.
  • @CryptoMason — 92 days old, 16 items. Crypto-conspiracy framing.
  • @pornbest, @EquilibrioInteriorZen — additional churn.

None of these were created before our scanner started running. All of them are post-2025 arrivals on Odysee. The platform is being seeded continuously, and our automated scan only sees the ones that hit a flagged keyword in their video titles — channels that operate purely in non-English or use innocuous titles for harmful content slip past us entirely.

What This Says About Onboarding

Mainstream platforms have systems to catch known re-banned identities — voice fingerprinting, payment-method matching, IP heuristics, the same email being used. They're not perfect, but they exist. When Stefan Molyneux gets banned from YouTube and tries to re-emerge with a new channel six months later, YouTube's Trust & Safety team has a reasonable shot at catching him. When Steven Crowder, Andrew Tate, or any other named-and-banned creator tries the same on Twitch or TikTok, ditto.

Odysee has four employees and no Trust & Safety function. Re-banning is impossible because there's no first ban to enforce against. Stefan Molyneux didn't have to evade detection — there's no detection to evade. Same for whoever is operating @themastersvoiceprophecyblog and @AnalSex. If these three accounts were all created by the same person, Odysee would have no way to know.

What Should Happen

The minimum viable response from a platform Odysee's size would be to (a) maintain a denylist of named creators removed from peer platforms for hate speech, harassment, or CSAM- adjacent content, (b) require email + phone verification at channel-creation time, and (c) actually look at the upload velocity of brand-new channels — 511 videos in 60 days from a zero-history account is the textbook signature of a re-uploaded archive and trivially detectable. None of these would be expensive. None of them are happening.

We've filed referral notices about @freedomain to Coimisiún na Meán under DSA Article 16, on the basis that Stefan Molyneux is a known publicly-identified figure and the content is publicly-accessible from the EU. We'll add the filing to the takedown-tests register with a status check at +30, +60, and +90 days. Live data — current channel-velocity signal, fresh-node count, total flagged — refreshes from /data/channel_velocity.json on every deploy.
