The Medical Misinformation Machine: One Channel, 38 Videos, 97,730 LBC in Tips
Published April 20, 2026 · OdyseeWatchdog Investigative Team
YouTube removed COVID misinformation because people were dying. Peer-reviewed research documented that 15% of those removed videos migrated to Odysee. Our deep scan of Odysee's medical misinformation ecosystem found 66 confirmed items across categories including COVID denial, anti-vaccine propaganda, dangerous alternative "treatments," and outright germ theory denial. A single channel — @DollarVigilante — accounts for 38 of those items and has earned 97,730 LBC in tips from content that could cost people their lives.

@DollarVigilante: The Highest-Paid Medical Misinformation Creator on Odysee
Jeff Berwick, operating as @DollarVigilante, runs the most prolific medical misinformation operation on Odysee. Across our full scan, his channel has 120 flagged videos, 1.3 million total views, and 165,464 LBC in total tips. Of those, 38 videos specifically promote medical misinformation — earning 97,730 LBC from content that includes:
The term "CoVAIDS" — used in 15+ of Berwick's video titles — is a slur that simultaneously mocks COVID-19 and AIDS patients. "Plandemic" appears in 8+ titles. "Vaxxentration Camps" compares public health measures to Nazi concentration camps. This is not political commentary. It is medical misinformation designed to discourage vaccination and promote distrust of healthcare during a pandemic that killed millions of people.
Odysee's 5% platform fee means the company earned approximately 4,887 LBC from Berwick's medical misinformation videos alone.
Beyond DollarVigilante: The Wider Ecosystem
Berwick is the biggest, but not the only source. Our scan found medical misinformation from 20+ channels:
- @SilvanoTrotta — French-language hydroxychloroquine promotion ("La Guerre de L'hydroxychloroquine!", 10,442 LBC). One of Odysee's top French-language channels.
- @ResistTheNWO — "185 Pages of COVID-19 Vaccine Deaths & Side Effects" (3,450 LBC). Presents selectively curated adverse event reports as proof of a vaccine conspiracy.
- @corbettreport — "Why Do You Say 'Scamdemic'?" (1,290 LBC). James Corbett's channel has 207 flagged videos and 2.1 million total views on Odysee.
- @drsambailey — 21 items in our broader scan. Promotes germ theory denial and "terrain theory" — the debunked claim that viruses don't cause disease.
- @decentraleyes — "HARM - The documentary exposing the Testing FRAUD" (1,000 LBC). Anti-testing content.
Four Categories of Dangerous Content
1. COVID Denial (57 items)
Content claiming COVID-19 is a hoax ("plandemic," "scamdemic," "CoVAIDS"), masks don't work, PCR tests are fraudulent, hospitals were empty, and the pandemic was engineered. This category alone accounts for 86% of medical misinformation on Odysee.
2. Anti-Medicine / Germ Theory Denial (36 items)
Content claiming germ theory is a fraud, viruses don't exist, chemotherapy kills patients, cancer cures are suppressed by "Big Pharma," and HIV/AIDS is a hoax. This content doesn't just discourage vaccination — it discourages all modern medicine.
3. Anti-Vaccine (7 items)
Content claiming vaccines cause autism, are bioweapons, or are part of a depopulation agenda. Includes selectively curated VAERS data presented without context.
4. Dangerous "Treatments" (6 items)
Content promoting ivermectin as a COVID cure, hydroxychloroquine, and other unproven treatments. When people follow this advice instead of seeking medical care, people die. YouTube removed this content for exactly this reason — and it migrated to Odysee.
The YouTube-to-Odysee Pipeline
This content exists on Odysee because it was removed from YouTube. A peer-reviewed study published in Future Internet (MDPI) documented that 15% of COVID-related videos removed from YouTube for violating misinformation policies (1,114 videos) migrated to Odysee and BitChute.
YouTube didn't remove this content arbitrarily. It removed it because the World Health Organization, the CDC, and the global medical community identified COVID misinformation as a threat to public health — an "infodemic" that was directly contributing to vaccine hesitancy and preventable deaths.
Odysee took that same content, gave it monetized channels, and called it free speech. Jeff Berwick's 38 "CoVAIDS" videos have earned him 97,730 LBC. Every tip, Odysee takes 5%.
The Real-World Body Count
Medical misinformation is not an abstract policy debate. It has a body count:
- A Lancet study estimated that COVID vaccine misinformation contributed to millions of preventable deaths worldwide
- Hydroxychloroquine promotion led to self-medication deaths and poisoning incidents across multiple countries
- MMS/bleach consumption has caused serious injury and death — the FDA has issued multiple warnings
- Vaccine hesitancy fueled by misinformation has enabled the resurgence of measles and other preventable diseases
Every one of these outcomes is enabled by platforms that host and monetize the content that drives them. Odysee is one of those platforms. And with 4 employees, no content moderation team, and a 0% enforcement rate, it has made a deliberate choice to keep this content live and profitable.
The Economics of Medical Misinformation
59% of @DollarVigilante's total revenue comes from medical misinformation. This is not a side interest. It is the core business model — and Odysee profits from every transaction. The platform has a direct financial incentive to keep "CoVAIDS" videos live, tippable, and discoverable.
YouTube removed this content because people were dying. Odysee hosts it because people are paying. That is the difference between a platform with moderation and one without — and that difference is measured in lives.
