Weekly Scan: David Lane, 1488, and 11 More Aryan Channels

Since our last published scan, Odysee added 170 new flagged items across 40 new channels. Thirty-one of those items contain the word "Aryan" or an overt neo-nazi identifier in the title. Nothing from the previous week's reporting has been removed. This is what a one-week slice of the platform actually looks like.

The Anchor: A Podcast Series About David E. Lane

The channel @NightNationReview — an operational white-nationalist podcast with over a thousand episodes — hosts a video titled "POLITIX PARALLAX · 2/26/2025 · WN FOUNDERS SERIES: DAVID E. LANE". 1,010 LBC staked on the single episode. It is episode two of what the channel openly calls its "WN Founders Series". WN stands for white nationalist. The branding is not a gaffe. It is a recurring format.

Who David E. Lane was. Lane was a convicted member of The Order (Brüder Schweigen), the white-supremacist terrorist cell responsible for the 1984 assassination of Denver radio host Alan Berg. He was sentenced to 190 years in federal prison on racketeering and civil-rights charges. He died in prison in 2007. He is best known as the author of the "14 Words" slogan — "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children" — which is the single most widely-quoted white-nationalist creed of the last thirty years and appears on the manifestos of both Dylann Roof and Brenton Tarrant.

This is not history. @NightNationReview's catalogue is active. Recent episode titles from the same channel, all still live as of today's scan:

Reading that lineup: "Blackpilled" is Devon Stack, named in the SPLC's 2023 Digital Threat Report as the single highest-earning extremist on Odysee ($65,362 in tracked tips). "Red Ice TV" was banned from YouTube in 2019 for hate speech. "Warren Balogh" is a former Traditionalist Worker Party / National Justice Party activist. "Terrorgram" is the documented name for the Telegram network of accelerationist neo-nazi terrorists responsible for multiple foiled plots. And Stripe has already decided this network is too toxic to process payments for. Odysee has decided it is not too toxic to host.

The Channel Handle Literally Encoding "Heil Hitler"

The channel @Blink1488Archive hosts a video titled "Aryans from space - Blink1488". Read the handle slowly: Blink + 1488 + Archive. 1488 is the neo-nazi numerological fusion of two separate codes — 14 for Lane's fourteen-word slogan, 88 for HH (Heil Hitler). It is listed in the ADL's Hate on Display database as one of the most common hate symbols of the last decade.

A hypothetical moderator reading channel handles at creation time — which every platform with a trust-and-safety function does — would catch this in the first pass. Odysee's handle-registration system accepted it. Odysee's search ranking surfaces it. Odysee's name-search displays it. There is no enforcement step between upload and public distribution.

The Week in One Sentence

In the seven days since we last cited our numbers publicly, Odysee added an operational white-nationalist podcast network (already deplatformed from Stripe), a channel with Nazi numerology in its literal handle, a Black Sun plus 1488 music channel, an actual National Socialist Black Metal band, and at least eight more channels openly using the word "Aryan". Nothing from the previous week was removed.

We will publish this scan update every week. The premise is extremely simple: there is always more, and Odysee always does nothing, and the week-over-week record of both facts is itself the evidence.

Also This Week: The Comments Layer

As part of the weekly scan we also sampled the comments on the platform's top 100 most-staked flagged videos. Of those 100, 7 videos had comments containing explicit slurs or antisemitic in-group markers that the scanner was conservative enough to match only on a small, unambiguous pattern list. Twelve flagged comments in total, across channels including @redicetv, @DollarVigilante, @CosmicEvent, @corbettreport, @AlphaNerd, and @KnowMoreNews. Representative lines (paraphrased only where personally identifying, otherwise verbatim):

Titles can be sanitised. Comments are where the audience tips its hand. The pattern is consistent with what the body of the content is already signalling — and it is public, indexed by Odysee's own infrastructure, and moderated by nobody.

What We Filed This Week

• Coimisiún na Meán (Ireland DSA coordinator): @NightNationReview full catalogue, @Blink1488Archive, @GLRYB2GD — names the French/German criminal statutes each item plausibly violates. The WN Founders podcast falls under France's Loi Gayssot for the David Lane episode specifically.
• SPLC Hatewatch tip line: the cluster as a whole, with specific emphasis on the Devon Stack / Red Ice TV / Tim Murdock network that already features in SPLC's 2023 report.
• Cloudflare Trust & Safety: @NightNationReview and @Blink1488Archive by URL. Cloudflare has precedent (Daily Stormer 2017, 8chan 2019) for acting when the hosted content is this overtly branded.
